Instructions

Thoughtfully and efficiently read the following articles:

[2] P. Thomson, "Static analysis," Communications of the ACM, vol. 65, no. 1, pp. 50-54, Dec. 2021, doi: 10.1145/3486592.

For each one, write a ½-to-¾-page (single spaced) summary of it. Make me believe you understand what the authors are saying and what their main points are.

Locating the texts

The first article is a (non-peer-reviewed) report from a tech institute, to which I have given the link. If you have trouble locating the second one, use the UMW Library home page, choose "Journals," then type "Communications of the ACM" as the journal title.

To get maximum points, your response must be:

thoughtful
informative
well-expressed
grammatically correct
showing evidence of having learned from the reading

Turning it in
