DATA 419: Machine Learning I

Okay, magelets, here is your super-high-stakes, mega-challenging, not-to-be-taken-lightly first assignment. It is given in two parts, neither of which is for the faint of heart, but each of which is worth up to +20XP if completed with excellence. Both parts are due at midnight, Sept. 4th. In order to earn any experience points (XP) at all for this class, you’ll need to sign up on the class scoreboard. Do this right away, and get your first +1XP of the semester!

IMPORTANT NOTE: you should choose a secret screen name that does not resemble your real name in any way, and you should keep it secret from others throughout the semester.
